Sydney GAVIGNET Skipper de 40 ans participe à sa première "Route du Rhum" à bord de "MAJAN" sous les couleurs du SULTANAT d' OMAN. C'est le premier maxi-trimaran aux couleurs, "arabes" à s'aligner dans cette course mythique. Pour ce marin, admirateur de J. LONDON, de GHANDI, le RHUM constitue le rêve de son enfance, le challenge sportif apogée de sa carrière, mais aussi la lourde responsabilité de défendre l'image de l' ORIENT et de ses habitants en OCCIDENT.
De MASCATE À SAINT-MALO, en passant par MALTE, CADIX et LORIENT, SYDNEY se prépare avec son équipe à cette épreuve légendaire.
Sydney GAVIGNET , 40 years old skipper, sails on the boat MAJAN for his first « Road of Rhum » with the OMAN SULTAN team. It is the first Arabian maxi trimaran in this mythic race. This sailor admires Jack LONDON, GHANDI and this race is a child dream, the sport challenge of his career but also the responsibility to fight for the image of East and West worlds.
