SUR LES TRACES DE L'ANCIENNE PISTE ESPAGNOLE
De 1829, jusqu’à la Guerre américano-mexicaine qui prend fin en 1848, le Mexique prend le contrôle des actuels Arizona, Nouveau-Mexique, Wyoming, du sud du Colorado, Utah, Nevada et Californie.
Durant 20 ans, les Mexicains emprunteront une piste allant de Santa Fe à Los Angeles et lui donneront le nom de « Viejo Sendero Español », « l’Ancienne piste Espagnole ». Considérée par les historiens comme la plus ardue de toutes les pistes historiques des Etats Unis, elle est pourtant aujourd’hui la moins connue en Amérique du Nord.
A travers une Région remplie de mystères, L’Ancienne Piste Espagnole disparaît peu à peu, elle a changé son parcours maintes et maintes fois afin de la rendre plus praticable, mais on peut la trouver si l’on sait où la chercher.

During 20 years, the Mexicans will use a trail frm Santa Fe to Los Angeles and gave it the name of "Viejo Sendero Espanol", the old Spanish trail. Considered by historians as the most difficult path of all historic trails in the United States, it is the least known in North America.
Through a region full of mysteries The old Spanish trail disappears slowly, its way changed many times to be more practicable but if you want to find it you know where to look for.
