BLEU BLANC ROUGE LA FIANCEE DU POILU
BLUR, WHITE, RED, THE BRIDE OF THE " POILU "
Un peu de burlesque dans cette grande tuerie... A travers d'une jeune fiancée, d'un jeune poilu de la guerre 14-18, d'un narrateur et d'un clown surgissent des images ....presque de bandes dessinées .
Against the backdrop of the national flag, this film is made of archival images worked like a comic book.
A tribute to the “Poilu”, a critic of the war. Always in motion, they bring to life these men who advanced to the front, the violence of the assaults. The bride is waiting for the return of her “Hairy” in a world that no longer makes sense. The telescoping between the burlesque aspect of the film and the gravity of the subject produces a shock. A personal film to denounce the absurdity of the Great War which resulted in 9 million dead. During the conflict, Germans and French followed Catholic masses for victory...
