A partir de la libération de 1944, les organisations se reconstruisent. Patrons du cinéma s’unissent pour faire repartir le cinéma français. Les syndicats se reconstituent. L’Etat créé un organisme : le centre national de la cinématographie.

The tax on cinema tickets which both producers and distributors claim divides the whole profession. In 1954 the share of the CNC leads to conflicts. They end with the « battle for quality ». André Bazin creates the Cahiers du Cinéma. With Jacques Flaud their artistic ambition is part of the new law which will be declared during Cannes Film Festival in 1959. François TRUFFAUT will win the Prize of Direction for his film « LES 400 COUPS ». This young man who is 27 years old will begin the New Wave Movement. A new production style is born….
